BGSU Center for Regional Development
While at Bowling Green State University I’ve worked as a student designer with the Center for Regional Development. This position enhanced my understanding of data visualization, accessibility and designer-client relationships.
Our interactions with data occur on an everyday basis. Regardless of what story it tells, it is not consumed unless it is attractive. Important data deserves to be seen, read and understood by all.
Harsh data can be made more approachable through color systems, shapes, icons and deliberate typefaces. This knowledge has expanded my design practice, supported by attention to detail and creativity.
